Drop-off and Pick-up: Parents are expected to come in with their child, sign in, and remain with him/her until received by a day care worker. A child can not remain at the center if he/she is sick. Also, parents must fill out an authorization form that gives persons other than themselves permission to pick up their child.
REGISTRATION:
All enrollment forms for the child must be completed by the parent and a current immunization record signed by a health care provider must accompany the child on admission. Each child must receive all immunizations at entry unless there is medical reason certified by a health care provider why these immunizations should not be made. An annual health examination may be requested and would be the responsibility of the parent. A non-refundable supply fee of $15.00 will be due each year in August to buy new art and other supplies.
TUITION:
Tuition will be due on Friday of the week service is rendered. To ensure that the needs of our staff and children are met, we ask that all accounts remain current.
Fees: The fees are $75.00 per week of childcare.
Sickness: No deduction will be made from the charge for days missed due to illness.
Notice of Dismissal: Children leaving are asked to give a two-week notice. This will help the center make the appropriate changes in order to fill the vacancy. Also, all debts must be paid before leaving.

We would like to see your child develop to his/her full mental and spiritual potential. We strive to provide training that fosters growth in all areas of development. It is our goal to have your child as ready as possible to attend Kindergarten.

CONFERENCES:
Parents may arrange for a conference with the director or church staff by appointment.
ILLNESS:
1.In order to protect the well being of the children at the center, parents/guardians will be contacted if their child becomes ill.
2. The Day Care Director should be notified of all medication to be given your child. Each bottle must be clearly labeled with child’s name, name of medication, amount to be given, time to be given, and if it is to be refrigerated. If there is more than one bottle of medication, they should be placed in a zip-lock bag with their child’s name on it.
3. The Day Care asks that you use discretion when your child is ill. If possible, we would like to prevent, at all costs, the spread of illness.
PLAYTIME:
All children at our center are encouraged to wear play shoes (gym-type) for inside and outside play. Outdoor play is an important part of our program, so make sure your child is adequately dressed.
DISCIPLINE:
We believe that encouragement and praise are a positive deterrent to negative behavior. However, we recognize that in some cases discipline is necessary. Time out or loss of privileges will be the method of disciplinary action. Corporal punishment is not used in any manner. If an ongoing problem develops, we will contact the parents for a conference.
RESTTIME, NAPS, CLOTHING
1. Naptime follows lunch every afternoon. The Day Care Center provides the cots and sheets, but you will need to provide other items such as blankets and pillows.
2. In case of emergencies, each child needs a change of clothing to be left at the center.
3. Please note that your child will get dirty during outside play. Our playground is covered in pea gravel, which is naturally dusty.
MEALS:
Breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack will be provided by the Day Care. Breakfast will be provided for children arriving before 8:15 a.m. Please call if you would like us to save breakfast or lunch for your child if they will be arriving late.
BIRTHDAY PARTIES:
If you would like to have a party at the Day Care Center, please contact the Director for arrangements.
RECORDS & OTHER INFORMATION:
Occasionally, the students will be going on field trips that are usually local. Prior to our trip, we will distribute permission forms that will require certain information. Please note that children cannot attend special trips unless the permission form has been returned.
SPIRITUAL:
We are a ministry of First Baptist Church in Parsons. As a Christian daycare, we feel strongly that our responsibility is to lay the foundation of faith in Jesus Christ. We do this by teaching and modeling biblical truths and other aspects of the Christian life.
