Good News for You

Our primary reason for existing as a church is to share God’s grace and mercy to all men. Through his Son Jesus, forgiveness is available and more than anything God wants to have a personal relationship with you.

The question now is- “Do you have a relationship with Jesus Christ?” Some believe that being a good person or attending church puts you in good standing with God and ensures your way to heaven. The bible says something different. The bible stresses the importance of knowing Christ personally. Knowing Christ brings peace to our lives and ensures us a home in heaven!

1) God loves you
God loves everyone and desires that no one live a life away from him (John 3:16).

2) You are a sinner
Every person has sinned. When measured to God’s holiness we are sinners.
    (Romans 3:10)

3) Sin Separates you from God
Our sin has built a wall between us and God. And because God is holy, our sin keeps us from having fellowship with God (Romans 3:23).

4) You can’t save yourself
Just being a good person doesn’t take down the wall that sin creates between you and God. No one can be good enough to earn favor with God (Romans 4:4-5).

5) God Sent His Son to take down the wall of sin
Jesus Christ, God’s Son, took the punishment for our sins through His death on the  cross. He died so that we may have forgiveness for our sins (1Peter 2:23; Romans 5:8).

6) You can receive Jesus Christ through faith
Faith is putting your trust in what Jesus Christ did for you on the cross  (Romans 10:9-10).

7) Through prayer you can trust in Jesus Christ
First admit to God that you are a sinner. Ask God to forgive your sins and become  Savior and Lord of your life. Then commit your life to living for Him.

If you have prayed this for the first time please contact us by phone (731-847-2466) or email. We would love to help you  grow in your new relationship with Christ.
